I'm not sure of the name, all I can tell you is a few of the lyrics and that it's a girl singing it.

Happiness is a needle in your eye.

I cross my heart and hope you die

It was on the radio the other night, but I missed who sings it. I tried finding it online, unfortunately I couldn't come up with the right song.
 
searched for a bit ,i couldnt find the song itself but i know this band has one by the name "cross my heart and hope you die" on their demo http://www.8lives-left.moonfruit.com/ they have some sample songs so maybe that will let ya know if this is the band you're looking for if you remember their sound. sorry if its wrong band but all i could find ^^;
