Can someone tell me the abbreviations in Civilization 3 and what they mean?

Civilization 3 the original, not the other one, what are abbreviations like F/S/C and A/D/M(B/R/F)and things like this one. If you know abbreviations in Civs 3 PLEASE tell I really need to know. Please help and thanks
