can someone tell me if this baby swing is recalled?

i got a cosco beginning gentle motion swing for my baby shower back in October of 2009 which is this year. My boyfriend's mother got me it and she said that she brought it at Kmart. I believed her and we just put it up last night and it is very lose and it moves around way to much. if you would put a baby in the swing then the sit would upset backwards and cause the swing to turn backwards. I don't think this swing is safe at all. I then got curious and looked on the back of the swing the manufacture date is 11/26/07 and the sticker on the box that tells the price is 4/24/08 for 49.99 and now it has one over that and it is 4/01/09 and it is 59.99 can someone tell me what happen and is this recalled?
 
Yea, it hasn't been recalled, I have one from 2006 that was registered w/ Cosco and set it up again for my newborn a few weeks ago. All the price stickers mean is that they jacked up the price(surprise, probably trying to make more money in the economy, lol). I really think you either got a faulty one, or didn't put it together properly. Unfortunately, cause you ripped the recent price sticker off, unless you have a gift receipt, you'll have to pay any difference in price if they will even exchange it at this point. Mine has a seat that lays almost all the way back for use w/ newborns, but it's securely snapped together and the metal bars are tightly screwed into the side of the seat so it's quite sturdy, even handles my 3 year old beating on it w/ nary a scratch.
