I've looked at the post on how to unlock/unfreeze some certain models of Samsung, including mine, which is on Vodafone-UK. I'm not interested in unlocking the phone's network code, I want to unfreeze it because I have files on it that I cannot get anywhere anymore . It was also a great phone to have. When I ran the Qualcomm unlocker, "alcomm IMEI WRITE SYSTEM For UMTS Ver 1.02 (SERVICE)", I checked all the connections, including the jumper (A dual female jack plug that connects two of the COM-1 Port's pins together with a thin metallic wire).I also made sure they were the number 2 and 3 pins that had to be connected. I started the process and afterwards, it stated:
