Dummy me! 
I left my Palm Tx on an airplane in the magazine pocket. I tried to get it back, but too late, the plane left. Trying to get airline to find it.... butI have Palm OS 5 on it and have it set to prompt for the numeric pass code whenever the unit is powered on... it's the one that looks like a telephone keypad.
[] I cannot remember. At this pass code entry screen at "power on", is there an icon labeled "Owner" so whoever found it can get my contact information to send it back to me?
[] If someone tries to crack the 4 digiit number, will the security software lock the device or insist that the regular device login / password be entered after so many incorrect pass code entries?
[] Would doing a soft reset cause it to circumvent the pass code request?
[] If a hard reset is done will it bypass security prompts, or just erase the contents of the device?
[]Will it automatically erase all the data on the Palm Tx (this would be good since I have a lot of credit card and other personal info. stored there).
Any assurances will be welcome and hopefully dismiss my worries.
