A glass vessel is filled to the brim with 1000 cm³ of mercury at 55 ºC. Find the temperature where the level of the mercury is reduced by 20 cm³. β(glass)= 2.2 • 10⁻⁵/ºC, α(mercury)= 1.8 • 10⁻⁴/ºC.
