Why I just saw a 5-6 month old black-tail fawn tonight (30 minutes ago) wandering the streets without it's mamma? The sighting of an solitary fawn that age is not all that unusual especially come September or October (does get hit by vehicles) but ... this is getting on mid-January. This little guy was clearly born way past the time common for deer to be born. By 3 months at least.
I've been seeing some other really strange happenings in the world of nature over the past few years. But this one sure caught my attention. Poor little guy. All alone, in the dark. Why is it so young this time of year? Is nature really changing that radically?

It's good to know I don't seem to be the only one seeing what isn't considered the "norm". We all know about the climate change thing but I'm beginning to think that 99.999999% of the populace are too caught up in Brad & Angelina (or whoever) to take notice.
