...progressing? I'm looking back on me and my ex's recently ended relationship, and I'm pretty sure he had unresolved issues from his past with his ex before me. I know people who really loved someone and was a significant part of their life will always havea special place in their heart and a part of them will love them, but.... I think a part of him hadn't moved on. Over the course of our relationship, I feel he didn't love me as much as I did him, and it always felt there was something keeping us from progressing past a certain point. Plus, I knew he had this thing where he was stuck on the fantasy of her and what they had (I accidentally read something private he wrote, don't ask, and he knew this). I found out today (not through him) he recently told his ex he still loved her (through email...and he was drunk/high when he did it). Um he didn't tell me this, btw, I found out otherwise. they haven't talked much in two years (when she left him) and she's been engaged a long time now.
