1) If you wanted to make an accurate scale model of the hydrogen atom and decided that the nucleus would have a diameter of 5 mm, what would be the diameter of the entire model in m?

A proton is approximately 2.0 x 10^-15 meters in diameter.
A hydrogen atom us approximately 1.2 x 10^-10 meters in diameter.

So, the hydrogen atom is roughly 60 000 times larger than it's nucleus.

So, if your diameter is 5nm across, the entire atom would be 300 000nm in diameter.
