I just purchased a 1986 honda rebel 250, and it seems to have a small issue i can not figure out. I can not get it to keep running. I have replaced the battery, but now it will not start, the lights will not even come on. I do not know where to start to trouble shoot. I was told it has just been maintained with carb. I had it running once I never got it out of 2nd gear and it acted like it was going to die on me. Also I got it started but when I applied the brakes to move it it stopped and now I am here stuck not knowing what is next to check on the bike !!! any help would be greatly appreciated!
