Can someone help me with some PHP code to sort an array?

I've been pulled into a problem one of my friends have - it reads the records in the directory and displays the pictures to the screen. It does it in the order that Linux "sees" them in the directory.
I want them to loop in ALPHABETIC order.

Any PHP experts out there? Let's make a deal!
