Okay so the rational function is: x^2+3x-4/x^2+x-12
A.) I need to factor the numerator and denominator of this function. Find the domain of the rational function.
B.) Write f(x) in lowest terms.
C.) Locate the x and y intercepts of the graph.
D.) Test f(x) for symmetry.
E.) Locate the vertical asymptotes.
F.) Locate the horizontal asymptotes.
G.) Use A-F to sketch a possible graph of f(x).
I'm having trouble with this problem. If anyone can help?
Thanks.
