Can someone help me with Flash CS3 (Onion Skinning)?

I've just started using Flash and am learning it bit by bit, but I've come across a problem. I'm building an animation with JPEGs rendered out of Blender 3d. Each frame contains an individual JPEG that is the exact pixel size of the frame and I have around 450 frames. When I import my sequence of images to stage they are not aligned.
How do I align multiple frames at once? I read a forum that said you simply had to drag an onion skin over the required frames and then use the align tool, but this doesn't seem to be working for me, even with the multiple frame edit tab activated it only seems to align the frame currently displayed on the stage.
I've tried various different things but can't seem to get it to work, I'm stuck aligning the whole project frame by frame and this is VERY time consuming. Can someone walk me through this step by step or point me in the way of a good tutorial? Thanx
Thanx Jim J I'll give that a go
