Can someone help me ID this car that hit and ran? It left a clue.?

Not sure if I can post a picture here... A piece of plastic body work came off..
DATE stamp indicates manufactured in OCT97 (means 98 model year), and the best color match I can come up with is GM - 19870 Light Stellar (Kind of aqua/metallic).
4 lines of details are stamped in plastic (Breaks just to the left, so there may numbers or letters before this.)

If you google 55055220 and 55055218, you will find a lot of search results for Dodge pickup truck taillamps.
