can someone help me calculate my semester 1 grade? i think my teacher calculated wrong?

okay so my quarter 1 grade was an 83%. homework is worth 10% and i got a 100 on that. labs are worth 35% and i got a 94 on that. notes are worth 10% and i got a 99 on that. quizzes are worth 10% and i got a 73 on that. tests are worth 35% and i got a 65 on that. i got a 64% on my semester final. sooo i want to know how to calculate that, or what that would all come up to. he said that makes my semester 1 grade a 79. but idk. a 4% drop in my grade seems a bit dramatic. and i reallyy want a B! can someone check if he was right?

You didn't say how your teacher weighted the semester final, but you did get a 64%. That's a drop of 19 points. you are 10% of 100 + 35% of 94 + 10% of 99 + 10% of 73 + 35% of 65 = 10% + 32.9% + 9.9% + 7.3% + 22.75% = 82.85% rounded to 83%
