I know they represent high and low etc and the booleans u can perform on them . But in real terms what do they represent ? Say I have a battery and a wire . I mean if I connect the battery to the wire current flows - does that represent a 1 ? ( And lack of it as a 0 ) .
If yes what sense does it make when u say digital transmission ... I mean over long distance ....you obvious cant connect a battery to a long wire or anything !
Do u get the sense ? I want to know physically what does 1-0 signify ...especially on a wire !

Ok , let say voltage , do we maintain a +15 or -15 over a length of a wire to have a +1 or -1 ?
