Hi, my cousin wrote a poem and hes 11. I think its good, your opinion....

My cousin is 11 and he wrote this poem, is it any good

The man in the corner

His presence is the corner, though he never speaks
Don't his eyes still blink, doesn't his heart still beat?
He would get more attention, if he just plain wasn't there
A glimpse, a remark, but they never dare stare

One row, two rows, i often sat in front
I stared at the man, looking ever so blunt
A gaze back at me, my eyes could see
The story that i knew i was about to read
I pulled up a chair, i sat to his right
Maybe out of heart, maybe out of spite

I looked at his name, a normal name indeed
Like me, like you, he started off as a seed
Not to my surprise, his heart was beating
His arms were normal as well
I asked how he was, as normal can be,he said I am just swell

He had a head, a nose, and eyes just like me
So why was i the only one able to see
His names joe, her name's lauren
His name is pedro, but he is also foreign

A chilling sadness, erupted in me
I have a name, she has a name, but what thy man be
He be a human, now i am a mourner
Why do we all get names, but hes the man in the corner?

I really liked this poem. It has a deep and compelling message and I must say, your 11 year old cousin writes better than a lot of the teens here on YA.
