Can someone compare the LG Vu vs. the IPhone?

I'm up for a new phone and I'd like some feedback on these phones. I'm not concerned about the cost of the phones, however I am concerned about monthly fees for each. I also text A LOT so the layout is important to me.

I'm interested in things such as:
Monthly costs/ fees
Texting accessibility
GPS
User friendliness
Is the TV on the VU good quality?
needed accessories
etc...
 
I would suggest to not purchase the Vu, I had it but only for about 3 months. It costs a lot for otherwise a crappy phone. The texting is better on the iPhone, the TV sucks on the Vu, and the touch screen is way more responsive on the iPhone. I would suggest the iPhone just because it looks cooler, it wokrs better, and is easier to text with. Which is what I mostly do too. :P Also, the GPS and Internet capabilities are obviously waaay better on the iPhone. Also if you enjoy listening to music on your phone the iPhone is the way to go.
