I was selling a Palm Pre on eBay and I have not activated it yet.
The person I sold it to said they cannot activate it because it's already activated!
I called Sprint and they said the ESN is clean (I guess not reported as "stolen/missing"), but they also confirmed that they couldn't tell me who activated it, or when.
If I had the ESN number listed in my eBay ad, would it be possible for someone to "steal" this number, clone it to a different phone and then activate that different phone on Sprint?
If so, what can I do to fix this so my buyer can use their phone??
