A couple weeks ago the brake alarm and light came on my 94 Buick LeSabre (It has high miles, 270,000 miles). Put some brake fluid in it and it fixed it for a couple of days. The next time it came on, i pulled out on the parking brake and it went off, so I thought maybe that was it. But a few days later it came on again, and brake fluid was already low again. As of yesterday, there is a noticeable problem stopping the car. I left it parked on the parking lot over night and this morning I don't see any obvious leak on the pavement. Ideas what it could be and how much I'm going to have to spend at the shop on it?
I had one friend tell me it could be some kind of cylinder and another one said it could be the calipers.....neither of whom have actually looked at it.
