Can somebody tell me what's wrong with my mazda 626?

It has been running a little funny. I'm a teenage girl, i don't really know anything about cars. Besides the fact that my gas mileage sucks, sometimes when the car goes to shift it hesitates. I'm driving my car on a waiver bc it couldnt pass emissions bc of something with the o2 sensor. I know that I'm not sure if it has a fuel pump or is fuel injected, but i was thinking that it had something to do with that.
 
The oxygen sensor-o2 sensor could be the cause of your problem because that sensor relays information from the exhaust system to your computer regarding the condition of the exhaust gasses and the computer adjusts the mixture of fuel accordingly to correct it.So if it,s faulty it will relay the wrong information to the computer
 
the bad gas milage is just that you have a bad o2 sensor. get that changed out. if you can get a friend to do it for you have them do it the part is probably around $20. unfortunately that won't fix the hesitation when its shifting that means you either have a misfire in the emissions system or your transmission is getting ready to die and the days are counted. this would be a common problem on a mazda. sorry.

book the car in some kind of comdy act
if it is truly funny you should be able to make enough money from your proseede to buy another mazda
oh and this time lets not go for the comdy act ,
look for a mazda that wll do a little drama
u know so when it is time for that mazda to earn its way you do not have all your mazdas in one basket

hello i am just kidding i have a mazda 626 that has 267,000 miles on it
and i had the same trouble about 10 years ago it was the 02 sensor
so go get it fixed there great little cars
i just love mine
