Can somebody help me find the right dirt/street bike?

I'm looking for a new bike! I was thinking something between a 200 and a 400. I don't know a whole lot about these bikes... The brand isn't important. Budget needs to be maybe $5,000 and under USED! It doesn't really matter how much new, but if it will go for under 5 grand used, that would be great. I just need to know what I'm looking for. =D

Take any bike to the right side of a street where there is lot of dirt.. Sprinkle the dust all over it..

Now you have a RIGHT DIRT/STREET bike..

HA HA HA.....
 
I have owned several on off road bikes, in your case, I would strongly suggest a Honda CRF230L, these are relatively maintenance free, and fun.
 
well for christmas i got a huffy raider and thyre pretty good. i have had no problems with it so for... for a couple of years... and thyre around 150$ aus!!!
