I am a web designer, I have strong knowledge of xHTML and CSS.
Now I want to jump another step and learn to create dynamic driven website using PHP and MySQL.
As I said earlier I am a web designer so programming/scripting is not my strong. Although I know a bit about C (programming language) but not much.
So can someone please suggest me a good book for me, I am not familiar with any book in amazon, that's why I am posting this question here.
I basically want to learn how to Create a content management system and a shopping cart. But as I said earlier I am a total beginner in PHP MySQL, I only know how to create website using xHTML and CSS.

I know how to use phpmyadmin (mySQL).
how to create databases, tables, relations, etc.
I also know a bit of C programing, such as variables, strings, arrays, classes, etc
I can create a simple and basic programs using C (the stuff you learn on the beggining when you are in university)
