Can some Star Wars boffins please explain?

Ive got an Anakin Skywalker force fx lightsaber from episode III.
Master Replicas are releasing Luke Skywalkers force fx lightsaber from episode IV.
What I would like to know, is this just the Anakin one in a new box or is it different in some way. From the pictures it does look slightly different?
The reason I ask is that Obi-Wan took Anakins lightsaber at the end of episode III so surley it would remain the same all those years later when he gives it to Luke?
Can somebody please explain?

To my knowdledge, there is no canonical explanation as to why the ignition button is slightly different between Ep III and Ep IV. The best guess is that it got damaged on Mustafar, and Kenobi simply replaced the ignition trigger in the subsequent 17 years.

Two reasons:

1. It's a film prop and they decided to make it differently the next time, probably because no one could be arsed to go back and check how they did it last time.

2. If you want to flog tat to muppets you've got to have a good reason to be able to fleece them a second time.

I could have sworn on Episode III dvd, there is a mini-featurette, where they match the lightsabers and they have a picture of the one Luke has in IV.
