can some one please help...i am thinking of learning to ride a motor bike?

i have been driving cars for 15 years and have only ever ridden pillion but call it a mid life crisis, i would love to learn to ride a bike but have no idea how to go about it, i know i need a bike but again i need help.Perhaps there is a place where i live that may help, i live in Worcestershire, many thanks in advance
