that fraud? Can I sue and win? After paying for a used car I drove the car 3-5 miles and the engine froze. The car wouldn't move nor restart. Mechanic says it will cost$1800 to repair. I only paid $800 for car.. When I asked the seller if there was anything wrong with the motor or the transmission he said no they are working properly, the only thing wrong is that the heater doesn't work. The last thing he said was to put anti-freeze in the car, so I did. I never asked him why did it need anti-freeze. Is this a fraudulent sale? Is he liable for misrepresentation, apparently he knew something was wrong and didn't disclose it. I know I can sue (anybody can sue) but will I win?

you will probably win the case if you have enough evidence and the guy proves hes a jackas* in a small claims court. it sounds pretty legit to me
