frame? Please help thanks? Hi, I have been thinking of buying new eyeglasses and have been looking for nice plastic frames. The thing is whenever I try the glasses on display at the store (ones with fake lenses) I seem to really like them. However, when I actually get the frame with my prescription lenses in them they seem weird on me almost as if the frames have gotten bigger and gotten out of shape. For instance, I usually go for small rectangular frames but with my prescribed lenses it seems to warp the frames out of shape where it looks more squarish?
I don't know if it is because I cannot see very well when I try the display glasses on but I go close enough to the mirror where I can get a general picture of how the frames look on me. I have a moderate prescription and usually get polycarbonate lenses. Is it just me or do polycarbonate lenses change the shape of the frames? If it does what are your recommendations?
