Can prisma markers be used on a drawing sketch pad?

I heard it will bleed through the paper, so I'm scared my drawings will look a mess if I use prisma markers. I don't feel like using color pencils anymore, I'm tired of sharpening over and over (they also hurt my hands).
 
depends on the paper thickness, - when i used them they bled through only to the other side of the same sheet, they didn't effect the next sheet, but i don't remember what kind of paper i had...
i REALLY love the markers (even though i haven't used them in awhile) i got a large set from school probably about a 3-4 hundred dollar value - they're great
