Can Pregnancy Tests be wrong?

If you do the math I would be 6 weeks pregnant and two days ago I took a home pregnancy test and it came back negetive from my first urine of the morning (Thats what they say is best) What are the chances I am pregnant???

You are more likely to have false negatives early in your pregnancy, and if it wasn't a good brand of test it is even more likely. Wait a couple days and then buy a Clear Blue test, you can use them in the morning, afternoon, before you get in bed, whenever. If it is still negative, you need to call a Dr and see what they think.

I doubt they could be wrong but do another i did three before i'd accept i was pregnant! x

I took so many home pregnancy tests over a month and they were all negative. And finally i got one positive!

Then ofcourse, full of excitement, I went to my doc to get a confirmation blood test - NEGATIVE.

I will never trust those things again unfortunately.

If you have missed your period, I would wait another week and take the test again. Pregnancy tests are 99% accurate - just make sure your reading the result at the appropriate time based on the instructions.
