My best friend is a South Korean citizen, and a permanent resident in Canada. He is in the process of getting his Canadian citizenship and is still in high school. He got a draft letter from South Korea, and he's trying to delay the draft til after high school, but as being in the military can put his life at risk, is that grounds for refugee status in Canada?
Can people gain refugee status in Canada if military drafted in another country?
