I bought a can of the Can O Crickets by ZooMed today for my Sugar Glider. I opened it and all the crickets were black and they smelled weird. Are they supposed to be this way, or are they bad? I know they are the same kind of cricket that pet stores sell live... which are brown naturally. 
All 3 pet stores in my area were out of the freeze dried bottles of the crickets, so they suggested the cans. She usually gets the freeze dried ones. She refuses to eat live ones which is fine with me.. they're too noisy anyway!
