I dont know if I can really help you or not because I dont have a Jeep Commander, I have a Jeep Grand Cherokee but I thought I'd take a stab at it cuz I know it's difficult to change my clock too! I have a clock/radio display and a system display - both of which shows the time - in order to set the clock on both, I have to press the buttons on the system display until I reach the date, time, day etc. but I have to go to the radio display to make any changes. So try finding the setting you want then the little buttons - where you have to use a pen/pencil tip or a paper clip to change the numbers lol, and see if that works, if not, I'm sorry - like I said...just took a shot.
