Can Neosporin cause one to break out?

Could Neosporin use cause acne? I ask because about 2 weeks ago I got a nasty cut on my face, and was using Neosporin on it daily for a week or so.

Now my whole face is breaking out. Is this merely coincidence, or is it related? I'd like to know.
 
You can be allergic to it. In neosporin there is an ingredient called neomycin and ALOT of people are allergic to it and they dont even know it. It happened to me. My doc told me all about this! Dont used it anymore. I had an orange fluid seeping for the blisters.
 
I don't think I'm allergic, the acne is there, but it's still fairly mild

and I've used Neosporin, in all places, all my life
 
Are you using the gel or the cream? The gel can clog pores, but the cream tenRAB to soak in better. Costs a bit more, but might be worth a try.
