Can Near Earth Objects (N.E.O.'s) be classed as wild?

Although NASA have technology to detect asteroids etc and are able to predict how close to the earth it will pass, or if it will actually have impact with earth but, can NASA actually 'control' the path of N.E.O's or could we say that they are wild ?
 
they dont control the paths, but they have the technology to predict which ones would hit us, and last i checked theres nothing large enough to worry about that will come anywhere near us for 10,000 years.

the earth gets hit by tiny meteors and comets millions of times A DAY. we just dont notice them
 
yes, the asteroids are wild, because if a asteroid, impact to earth, ending with the land.
