...collecting a debt? NCO financial systems, inc sent a letter of levy to a local bank saying they were collecting a debt due DOR for state of Indiana. The local Bank deducted a payment from customer bank account from VA Disability Benefit. Can this be done? I thought Governmnent Disability checks were exempt. Can NCO continue to collect in this manner? Thank you
