...attached garage? Can my townhome association force us to put our garbage into our small 2 car attached garage? We barely have any room in the garage for our 2 cars as it is. There is nothing in our association papers stating anything about garbage cans. We have lived here for almost 3 years.. I was unaware that they can change there association policies whenever they fell like it. Is this legal?
they are trying to force everyone to do it. They are a garbage can and a recycling can. No different then any other house. Its not a mess or anything like that... my problem is there is nothing in the association papers stating anything about having garbage stored in the garage... and no one ever got to vote on it.

But are they enforcing it with everyone, or just with you. If there are other folks that leave their garbage out, then they are discriminating. On the other hand, if your garbage is especially unsightly, then you might want to consider cleaning it up.
