can my suzuki vitara 4u 1.6 pull a horse trailer with a shetland in it?

need to get him to the vet... and could borrow a trailer but is my car strong enough and is it legal???? help
its not a 'grand' vitara..just a 2 door swb little 4 x 4
 
No problem, they can tow a 1450kg braked trailer believe it or not.

As an example, an Ifor Williams single horse HB403 trailer weighs 767kg, a double horse box around 1000kg.
