Can my sibling be covered under my military TriCare benefits?

I am in active duty military and have tricare benefits. My question is if it is possible to make my brother a dependent of mine and have him covered under my tricare benefits as well? And how would I go about that, if it were possible?

The only way your brother could get Tricare is if he is considered a dependent which means he is a minor that you have full custody of. If he is over 18 then you would need to prove that you are providing over 50% of his income and costs. It means he would no longer be a dependent of your parents and cannot be claimed on their income tax, would need a power of attorney to act on your behalf, etc...

You have to prove that you are providing the majority of support for him.

or have a Judge declare you his legal guardian.

They really look at these cases closely, so you cannot just say you support him, you have to prove you do.
