I have paid off most of my schooling in a lump sum, there is approx 3000 dollars that i havent paid, because i am waiting for federal financial aid (which becomes available in octobor, they say) . every month i get a 30 dollar interest fee. I am wondering if its legal or allowed for the school to charge me that interest fee when the financial aid money is going to be paying my remaining balance.
Can my school charge me interest when i'm waiting for federal financial aid?
