I bought an S-video cord so I can hook my laptop up to my computer. The only problem is, I guess there is more than 1 type of S-video cord. I have a way of connecting it to either my cable box to laptop (the cable box is connected to the TV) or from my DVD player to the laptop (the DVD is also connected to my TV). But it isn't working. Is it possible to route my laptop to my TV going through a third party (DVD or cable box)? Any advice is welcomed. Thanks.
