I'm thinking of purchasing a cable that connects my Macbook to my HDTV, because I have a lot of saved .flv videos on my macbook that I'd like to watch on the bigger screen. So, do HDTV's recognize .flv? Because when I see examples on youtube-how-to-videos, of how to connect a laptop to an HDTV, they always demonstrate a successful connection by playing some .avi movie. But what about .flv?
Can my HDTV play .flv videos from my laptop?
