CAN MY FRIEND USE SOME FINANCIAL AID FOR ME?.?

hey I only got enough money for my tuition and I really dont have the money for the books and Im wondering, my friend got got everything he needed his books tuition transp, everything and still has like 1200 left over is it possible he can buy books for me? or is that a bad thing? will the school do anything? or do they even care
