...approval? I work for a Federal Contractor under the Servcie Contract Act. I wanted to stop contributions to my 40K but was told I can only stop my elective contribution? What if I don't want anything in a 401K due to market risks?
 
Not having a 401k would be a terrible idea. You have to think about the future.
