I am employed by a company with a drug and alcohol policy , as i'm sure most people are. my question is this,legally can my company dictate what i do out of work?
I smoke canabis(which i know is illegal) and i unwind at MY weekend by doing so, if i am not under the influence of said cannabis when i go to work and i test positive during a random drug test, do i have the right to say "what i do friday to monday is my choice"?
If i was to take cocaine on friday night this would not register on a drug test on monday,so why am i being told how to run my own time,, the affects of cannabis is not long lasting, so why can't i enjoy my weekend the way i want to,, I'm not out getting pissed evey weekend and fighting the "stella" fight, I'm sat at home watching "Dave" and having a giggle, why is the more wrong than snorting coke on a friday?
