Can my boyfriend go to jail for dating me, im 18 and hes 23?

im 18 years old and my boyfriend is 23, i want to move in with him but my family says they will press charges against him cuz i meet him on the internet but i was 18 when i started to talk to him. they also they would press charges against him if he came up here to get me. Can they really do that to him, even with connections?? What should i do to protect him and me??
please help
 
No they cannot do so. 18 is the legal age. Since there is no threats make to you or your family there is no proper reason for trail.

I think your parents are just threatening you cause they are concern for you. They feel that you might be making a wrong choice at such an early stage of your life. It after all might be puppy love.

Your parents and the both of you should sit down and have a serious conversation. Voice out your frustration and concerns. If your parents see sincerity in him they will eventually welcome him slowly into your family.

Your parents might be seen as over concern at the very moment but they just don't want to see their child be hurt. Therefore, don't move out just yet feel for them to.
