Can my betta fish still breed immediantly?

I just wanna know. If I put a female and male betta in a 1 gallon tank immedantly after i got them will they still breed or will they try to kill each other? PLZ answer I wanna know! Oh and yes the female does have somewhere to hide. There is a plastic deco. plant in the tank and a air filter. The tank has rocks in the bottom. Don't tell me they need a 10 gallon tank either! You got to be really smart to answer this question!
 
A one gallon aquarium is not large enough for spawning and you need to condition the pair.
 
Probably not. They won't be comfortable enough to breed right away. And it's immediately, not immediantly
