Can my 2001 mazda tribute dx v6 4wd be damaged?

in sept i was involved in a car accident which a guy ran a stop sign and hit my front drivers side tire and door. when he reversed his car away a chrysler sebring from mine in order to move it from the intersection my car dropped down. i guess from his front end being so low it lifted it up. come to find out the driver had no license.. i get my car repaired through my insurance which takes 7wks for all diff damages such as steering rod and all that other goodness. To make a long strong short i piked my car up yesterday and it feels like its pulling. Its not switching gears correctly this hasn't happened before. Should i contact the collision center that fixed it and let them know my issues or does this have nothing to do with the accident. A friend of mine told me when a 4wd car is hit most likely the transmission messes up help plzzz
