can money be taken from my commissary for child support in jail? if either i have some money or someone post money to my commissary in an indiana jail specifically speaking the porter county jail?

If this is a county jail then no they do not take money from your books for any type of payment other than maybe doctor's visits or actual commissary. On the other hand if this is a state institution then the state has a pay program that they take a percentage of whatever is placed on your books for state fees. I've never heard of them taking any money for child support.

Money placed on your books for commissary at county jail is not used towards child support, restitution, court fees, etc. It is 100% for the use of the inmate at commissary.
Money sent to an inmate at state prison, however, may have deductions of a certain percentage taken out to satisfy these types of debts.
