Can minors attend a pub/sports bar and grill that serves food if they are

accompanied by their parents? We are attending a benefit for a dying friend that's located at a sports bar in Ontario, Canada. We are from out of town and have our two children with us aged 17 and 18. Will they be allowed to enter the establishment to not drink but eat?
 
I want to say yes but you are in Canada. Check with the local authorities to make sure. The police department can answer that question best.
