Can medium firm tofu be used in a cheese-less vegetarian lasagna?

I'm looking for a way to use up my medium firm tofu and am planning on making vegetarian lasagna minus the cheese tonight. How would you suggest to use the tofu? The other ingredients in the lasagna will be:

-Zucchini
-Tomatoes sliced and placed on the top layer of the lasagna noodles to get roasted while the lasagna is cooking
-Tomato sauce
-Left-over carrot cole slaw that has no dressing on it
-Frozen veggies
-onion
-spices and garlic

I don't have any spinach :( and don't think romaine lettuce would taste as good lol!

Any more suggestions on this lasagna?

I also thought about adding some kidney beans in for added texture! Do you think this will work?
